Anyone want to respond to Anonymous Below?

Are we likely to bring in Polee? If so, why? If not, why not? What are our chances? 50, 30, 75 percent?

I have my own thoughts, but I'd like to hear from some of the rest of you.

50% chance...if a high major comes through and offers him a scholarship it would be tough to reel him in...UNLV and UGA seem pretty even in the race...

First of all, throw out all of the mid-major and high-major jargon in college hoops. The one and done crowd is going to continue to create more and more parity in college hoops...meaning more Butler's in the final 4...and more St. Mary's, Murray State's and Northern Iowa's winning tournament games. UNLV has a much stronger hoops program than many so-called "high major's". They've done well the past several years under Lon Kruger and Vegas is not very far from LA. Even with no other players involved with Polee, I give UGA no more than a 20% chance of landing him.

Well just thinking from recruit standpoint...If my choices were between UNLV and UGA but then teams like Arizona or UCLA or a team like that offered and similar playing time was offered...I would pick the high major due to the exposure, tradition, and probably better benefits of playing in a big conference, with better competition as a whole, over the course of the season.

I have no 'inside information'. None. But, it was my understanding that when he crossed USC off his list, he contacted us. Maybe he did that because he and his dad were familiar with Fox at Nevada. Maybe he saw Travis on Sportscenter in the top 10. Maybe he is looking for a change of pace and wanted to visit to see if he liked it. If I am right about the initial inquiry, then it sounds he is thinking about it.
